Melia is a member of Costume Designers Guild 892 and Motion Picture Costumers Local 705. She has headed up the wardrobe departments on several commercials including Spectrum, Metro by T-Mobile, McDonald’s and USA Reverse and short films.
In addition, Melia has worked as Assistant Costume Designer/ Key Costumer on Netflix feature film Resort To Love and television series All American Homecoming, Our Kind of People, Games People Play and Unsolved. Over the course of her costume career, Melia has held every position in the costume department such as key costumer, shopper and set costumer which has provided her opportunities to develop a great eye for style and an ability to lead a costume department effectively.
After the emergency absence of the Costume Designer for Games People Play, Melia stepped up from her Key Costumer position, assumed the Costume Design role and led the department for five episodes, allowing for production to operate seamlessly.
What ever the project, Melia always brings her creativity and professionalism. She is currently based out of Los Angeles.
